The Resource Centre is a project of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation (EHO). It is a joint project between EHO and Diakonia Austria. Until now it has been financed by Diakonia Austria, the Austrian Development Association (ADA), the ERSTE Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, USAID/ADF,  the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ireland (Irish Aid) and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection.

Currently it is financed by the Diakonie Austria, Austrian Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection and Erste foundation.

The basic activities of the Centre, based on the social model of disability, include the improvement of the economic, legal and social position of people with physical and learning disabilities. We also promote employment of people with disabilities and lobby and advocate for their interests. We provide various resources for our beneficiaries, including information, education, psycho-social support, equipment, driving services etc.
Our basic goals are:
To improve the quality of life and independence of people with physical and learning disabilities.
To improve the position of people with physical and learning disabilities in the labour market, through the provision of education and liaison with employers.
To improve the exchange of information between PWD’s and to initiate networking of all stakeholders.
To improve advocacy and lobbying within institutions and government for the respect of basic human rights.
To support initiatives of people with disabilities and their families.
To improve cooperation with the university faculties of social science, including professors and students, alongside with other institutions and organisations that are dealing with PWD in Vojvodina and our neighbours.
To build tolerance and better understanding between people with and without disabilities.
The Resource Centre is achieving these goals through:
